Declined a Refund, What happens next?

Hi

I'm hoping for some advice as new to this request..

I'm a host of a yurt, which this time of the year everyone knows gets warm.  Ventilation and 2 fans were provided and its a know trait of this sort of structure. 

It was a heatwave and the guest booked 2 days before knowing it is a yurt.

The guest has since complained about how warm it was and that it was not fit for purpose.  I am unable to predict the weather and our particular yurt has a skylight (which I will be covering to dull the light it provides anyway).  With this in mind the guest took a picture of taking our hanging lamp down and what can only be described as extremely concerning structure of a chair, then a trunk on top and then a milking stool........even then there was an outdoor parasol balanced on top of that! 

If have declined a refund request because we cant predict the weather, that they still stayed and for the pure fact that messing with electrics and making such a structure could invalidate our insurance and is a severe safety hazard. And could also have ruined our yurt which we are investigating.

Hes messaged me privately (being some what rude) saying to refund him again. 

What happens next? does he have to go through Airbnb to mediate or can he request again?

Oh and I forgot to mention that he took our ipad we provide 'by mistake' - i caught him out.
