Hello, I am hoping someone can share their experience regarding an official dispute. I am a new owner of a property that has been listed on Airbnb for a couple months now. I have only had five star reviews, and I earned a guest favorite badge within the first few months. Airbnb has unlisted my property due to it being flagged as a duplicate of a previous listing that violated airbnb policy. Long story short, I’ve sent property deed, closing documents, and a registry form provided from our closing attorney to prove exchange in ownership, but for some reason, that wasn’t enough to come to a resolution over the phone with support. I do not even know what the violations were prior to my purchase, and to me, this is a cut and dry situation. I also sent airbnb several pictures of many updates we completed since we bought it along with proof of fumigation in hopes, something I provided would prove our remedied whatever the issue was prior to my ownership. Anyway, I did send an official dispute letter as required by the TOS before arbitration. I sent my letter certified so I was able to track it and it arrived yesterday. I know airbnb has 30 days to reply, but I am curious if anyone else has experienced something similar, and how long it took to get a reply. Thank you in advance!
