Do I need a licence to host in NSW, Australia

I am looking to host on behalf of friends in NSW on AirBNB. Do I need a letting / real estate licence for this when it is not my own home?

I have looked on line and spoken to a few people but I can't find the answer. Many thanks

You could start by checking with your local government to see if there are any STR restrictions in your area @Lucy1053
