There are many ways to promote your listing, and social media has become a powerful tool to reach people around the world. 🌍

With that in mind, I’d love to ask: do you use social media to promote your Airbnb listing? 📲 If so, which platforms do you use: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or others?

Have you found that this strategy increases views or leads to actual bookings?

I use local facebook-groups, where people (mainly students)  ask for temporary accommodation.

I generated several bookings this way by pointing them to my Airbnb profile or to a specific listing.

It also has the advantage to do some chatting first and/or visit the persons facebook pages to have an impression of the potential guest.

Incidentally also a booking via X (aka Twitter) contact.

Hola Paula, creo reals para Instagram y Facebook en algunas ocasiones pero las reservas me han salido directamente en la plataforma, no he conseguido clientes en redes, por lo que seria chévere aprender a hacerlo adecuadamente

I've been using Instagram to promote my airbnb since we opened almost 3 years ago. (I do photography and marketing by trade) I use Reels and carousels to attract new guests and educate them on why my airbnb is the best option in the area. We get about 1/2 of our bookings coming from instagram and it's helped us reach a 75% occupancy rate which is about 45% higher than other similar listings according to the airbnb insights, despite being one of the most expensive. I'd say, if done right, social media can be an excellent marketing tool.
