End of year tax information

Does Airbnb give us any information on the $ they take? Do I solely do taxes on what I've made and pay taxes accordingly?

@Dean703  Not sure I understand your question. Aren't your tax responsibilities always based upon your own income? What else would they be based on? Whatever Airbnb charges guests for service fees, if that's what you are referring to, has nothing to do with your own income or taxes.

Airbnb pays the local accommodations and sales tax (I'm also in NC) for you from what they collect from the guest at the time of booking. You are responsible to report your income from rentals to the IRS and state/local governments. That is reported as income. Airbnb used to do an end of year report, but I can't find it this year. I'm still looking.
