England - mandatory registration scheme for short-term lets is coming

Essentially, all Airbnb users in England will need to register their property (even if only a single room) with evidence of compliance on all manner of things such as fire safety, licensing, planning permission, electrical and gas safety, approval of mortgage company/freehold owners etc etc.   Details will follow.  

Likely to be coming in during Summer 2024 (depending on politics etc in what is a general election year etc).
