Glamping in Florida

Hello everyone.. I am wanting to start a glamping site in Florida.  I would like to have 3 tents.  My question is...where do I start with the county? Who do I need to talk to?  Do I need permits? Do I need to pay the 6% tourist development tax,  and 7% sales and use tax collected by the Florida Department of Revenue?  Does anyone know the regulations for doing this on your own property?  I have  2 acres that my home is on (that I live in);  however the tents would be away from it.  And yes there will be restroom facilities just for the tents.    Im looking for direction of who to talk to at the county and to gather as much info as I can befor I start this adventure.      TIA Sarah

This is an international community @Sarah4562  so we won't know who you need to talk to or about your planning laws.

in your situation I would start with your local government planning team

@Sarah4562  Start with your local zoning office. Read the government pages for your county.  You will probably have to meet local health regulations for your sanitary facilities.  You will pay all taxes associated with providing rentals.  You may need to be licensed. Do your research, and good luck!
