HOA created new rule banning STR’s

We could rent Short term, but starting January 1, 2022, HOA will fine because of new rule. No owners had a vote. The board members voted, and that’s that. Shouldn’t we be legally grandfathered in?

@Deanna191 it depends on the HOA rules and the law. I suggest you consult an attorney and/or read the rules of your HOA.

You could try to remove the board but it is likely your neighbours will prefer no STRs.
