Hi there, I'm Tia from Los Angeles. I've been hosting my vacation home on Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest for almost 3 years. So far I've had a fabulous experience with Airbnb as a host and also as a traveler. 

This year my goal for my listing is to have it rented 50% more. 

I've considered using a company like Evolve to take over the management of my listing but I'm having second thoughts... I think, especially with the support of this community, I can increase my rentals on my own. 

Does anyone have any thoughts on using a third party management group?

Hi! I live in Washington on the Peninsula!

Please DO NOT use Evolve, Vacasa or any other large property management company! Just type the name in the search the community box and you'll see what I mean. Terrible results using these 2 companies. They also require you to name them as "Owner" on the account.

Please look for an experienced Co Host for your listing instead. Be sure to remain as Owner on the listing and you can show the Co Host as primary host while they work with you if you like. A short term rental consultant can also help you optimize the listing and improve performance. Please DM me if you would like further information.

Thank you Joan I really appreciate this information. I did decide not to use Evolve. I already have a great co-host but I'm just trying to get my place rented more frequently. 

If you know of a good consultant I would love a recommendation.
