You're off to a wonderful start with your Airbnb listing — your home sounds beautiful and culturally rich! To help you improve your visibility, bookings, and guest satisfaction, here’s a complete guide to improving and promoting your Airbnb listing, based on your listing and the information you provided:

🔍 1. Listing Optimization (Make it attractive for search & guests)

Title

Your title should grab attention and reflect the unique experience.

Suggestion:

“Stained Glass Gem in Jaipur – Cozy Heritage Homestay with Local Charm”

Photos

Use high-quality images in natural light. Make sure each room is shown fully.

Highlight unique features: stained glass, mirror work, cultural items.

Add captions: e.g. “Traditional Rajasthani mirror work in the bedroom”.

Description

Split the description into clear sections:

→ The Space

Explain what guests can expect: how many rooms, beds, kitchen, Wi-Fi, etc.

→ What Makes it Special

Emphasize: stained glass, heritage look, cozy feel, local neighborhood, cultural vibe.

→ Guest Access

Mention if guests can access the full home, balcony, kitchen, etc.

→ Interaction with Guests

Let them know if you’re available to help or give local tips.

→ Local Attractions

Mention popular spots like Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort, local markets, and your proximity to them.

→ Safety & Comfort

Mention C-form government permission, safety measures, cleanliness.

📣 2. Promoting Your Business

💡 On Airbnb

Respond quickly to inquiries — this boosts your search rank.

Ask happy guests to leave reviews. Reviews build trust.

Enable Instant Book for more bookings (optional but helpful).

Use Promotions/Discounts for first few guests to boost visibility.

📱 Outside Airbnb

Create an Instagram and Facebook page for your homestay.

Post pictures, local culture, guest stories, and tourist tips.

Hashtags to use: #JaipurStay #RajasthanHomestay #PinkCityExperience #IndianCulture #AirbnbIndia

Ask  guests to tag you and share their experience.

Join Facebook groups for travel/India tourism and share your listing there with beautiful photos.

💬 3. Messaging Guests Professionally

Be warm, helpful, and clear. Use simple English with correct grammar. Example:

> “Welcome to Ratlam House – a peaceful and traditional homestay in the heart of Jaipur. We look forward to sharing our home and culture with you. Please feel free to ask any questions. We’re here to make your stay memorable.”

4. What Makes Your Listing Unique (Use This!)

Cultural decor: stained glass & mirror work (rare!)

Authentic Rajasthani experience

Government approval for tourists (adds trust)

Quiet, cozy, beautiful ambiance

Personal touches from the host

💡 Tip:

Create a Story in your Airbnb description — let people feel the magic of Jaipur and why your home is the best place to experience it.

Hi there!  I think you’re off to a fantastic start!  Your home sounds beautiful, and the attention to detail really comes through!  I’m a newer host myself, and one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to listen to your guests, especially through their reviews. You’ll learn so much from their feedback.  Adding personal touches can go a long way, too.  Think about why your guests are visiting, are they traveling for work or for fun?  If it’s business, a few grab-and-go breakfast items and good coffee can be a game-changer.  If they’re in town for construction or manual work, I like to leave things like protein bars and Gatorade in the fridge.  It doesn’t have to be fancy, just thoughtful.  Fresh flowers, small treats, and even basic toiletries (for those who forget the essentials) help show that you genuinely care.  I always include a few goodies in the fridge, it’s a nice surprise and guests often mention it in reviews.  Communication is everything.  Let guests know what to expect from the moment they book.  Give them clear check-in instructions and follow up once they’ve settled in (as long as it won’t feel intrusive).  Being quick to respond makes a huge difference, they need to know you’re reliable and available.  I treat every guest like they might return and hopefully bring friends next time.  I aim for that glowing 5-star review every time, and in my experience, showing respect, care, and responsiveness goes a long way in making that happen.

You’ve got this!

Hi Yatam-Singh0

It sounds like your home is lovely with special, personal touches.

I was unable to see the home as I could not find the link to the listing. Have you had guests already?

What worked well for me was to change the title of my listing according to the seasons. For instance if it's winter, I will say "Warm and Cozy Villa with Fireplace".

High quality pictures are a must but you can defintely take them with a camera phone if your lens is clean. Place a plant in each picture to show the "freshness" of the house.

Take pictures of the small details that you are passionate about, like the stained glass.

I wish you all the best with your business.
