Hi Everyone, I'm brand new here!

Up front, I jus want to say that it's so great to have this forum full of experienced hosts! I tend to ask a lot of questions, so as we begin our business, I'm sure you'll see my name come up lol.

One of the questions I can't seem to find any info on the site about is how to offer an "all-inclusive", or "theme" package to our guests at our home.  How does that work with fee's? how do we separate those fee's (meals/experiences), from regular rental fees?

Thank you in advance for your help.  I am excited to learn.

Hi @Dawn1139!

I agree it's great to have experienced people on here. It really helps.

You have good questions.

There are usually tips on the Airbnb website regarding how to charge for things other than the stay/cleaning fee that you could read up on. It includes parking, and other fees.

My parking fee isn't included in my regular nightly rate, so I charge it separately and the guests pay it directly to my building management. I let them know in advance.

Thank you so much for the link  @Fatima645 . I will check it out asap! 🙂

Hi @Dawn1139

You can send requests to your guest to pay these extra fees using the Airbnb Resolution Center. It's easiest to use the "Request Money" tab on the Reservation Details. Guests can also use the "Send Money" Tab on their Reservation Details:

Perfect @Joan2709 , I just saw that option and was going to ask if thats what that was for! I appreciate your help! 💖

@Dawn1139

Just a thought if you are creating a specific package maybe you should explore the Airbnb Experiences.  Then like your listing it is specific I am offering this and you are paying this amount.  You also build experience reviews which encourages more buyers,

Hi @Dawn1139

I  wanted to point you in the direction of a resource Airbnb has called the Airbnb Help website which will answer lots of your questions.

in terms of this one you have a couple of options

1. Apply to host an experience to offer these packages

2 promote these packages on your listing and send a payment request through the platform if guests want to book them

do make sure your STR /liability insurance covers.
