Apologies if there's an obvious answer to this, but where can I find the historical monthly occupancy rates for my listings? And other stats, such as average monthly revenue by listing?
* the stats page only shows a chart of booking for the current month
* the earnings report is only updated annually (and doesn't display data by month)
* the calendar doesn't allow you to go back in time before the current month
* the transactions report has the data but it's not in a form that is easy to parse
I searched google, but the results seemed to be for comparisons to local listings (which suggests the data is available somehow).
I'd like to collect these stats so that I can better see how pricing changes affect occupancy and so on.
Thanks in advance for any assistance!
Yip it seems that the stats page has been reverted back to the old one which isn't very helpful. I really like the ability to see each months earnings and having the different stats on the different tabs was brilliant. I had a strategy worked out on the information on those pages and now it's gone.
I hope they can revert it back.
Do we have different Stats pages?
I can go back by clicking on the arrows at the bottom of the Views section.
I see all bookings a year out.
The Transaction History lets me choose dates via the pull-down menu.
This is a new Stats view that changed for me two days ago.
Are we getting different things?
Hi Wendy,
Yes that is the same one I have also. It was changed two days ago but was this way last year and then they introduced the other format which I much prefer as I could see at a glance how much each month was earning and refer to previous years which just a click of the arrows. Now to get that information I have to bring up the transactions page and change the months at the top of the page and then write down what it is for that month before getting the next month. As I'm looking at 4 years of being on Airbnb, this process is not quite consuming to get that info back. I'll just have to recreate the graph that they had on there two days ago, but it's a bit more work and was easy for me to see trends.
I contacted AirBnB about this as well and they don't have any data. Where can I see statistics data? Any link? I'd like to see historical statistics on the city in NorCal or Bay Area where people mostly stay. Can anyone share a link please? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
@Joel144, this doesn't answer the original post's question (about their specific historical data), but for your question about data for you area:
One resource for this type of data is AirDNA: https://www.airdna.co/
Most of their information costs money, but there is a worthwhile amount of data you can view for free.
(Note: I do not work for AirDNA; I am not even a customer.)(I do peek at the free data.)
I would really appreciate it if airbnb would allow us to easily view historic data on our pricing and occupancy. Price Tips are not helpful and seem to only be designed to get us to lower our rates. I'd find it much more useful to know which rates and seasons and days seemed to get the best occupancy in the past.
Have a look at AirbnbBuster, it outputs all the prcing and reservation data for all of your listings, past, future and present
Try looking at your Listing on a main computer, rather than via Ipad or phone. You can then access your calendar for 2019 and see your monthly bookings. Different presentation of stats too.
