I’m reading over and over the same question about what insurance company allows Airbnb. Here’s what I found when it comes to regular homeowners insurance companies (not talking about specific STR insurance like Proper). State Farm allows for a small annual rider. Mine is around $80 per year. Allstate no longer allows Airbnb. State Farm no longer writing new policies in CA and FL, fyi.
This is good to know. When I informed my State Farm rep that I added an Airbnb my premium didn't go up so I raised the question again and was told that I was covered. But I wonder since I am not charged extra. I wonder if it because of my original coverage policy. SMH
