Hosting in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri area

I'm currently a Superhost with a home near Lewis and Clark Lake in South Dakota. My husband and I are longing for warmer temperatures and a lakeside home with our own dock. What are the pros and cons of hosting in the Lake of the Ozarks area? We're looking at homes that are 3+ BR and 2+BA over 1800 sq ft. If you own a home that is similar in size, what is your average income per year? I would also be interested in knowing what area you are in: Gravois Mills, Osage Beach, etc. TIA for your time responding!
