Hosts renting out unit they lease

You have hosts on this site who are renting out a townhome they lease.  This townhome is in a gated community which has an HOA.  It is in the bylaws that short term rentals under 12 months are not permitted.  We have requested that the hosts take down the listing but they have not done so.  We reported it to Airbnb but they have not yet done anything.  Does anyone have any suggestions short of kicking the hosts out?

@Kimberly1408 It is down to your HOA to enforce the rules.

We are trying.  We don’t have the ability to take this post off or Airbnb though.

Surely the HOA has the ability to fine the owner/take legal action?

what did the owner say when you brought this up with them?  @Kimberly1408

@Kimberly1408 . HOA needs to send a legal enforcement letter to townhome owner, not host. Is townhome owner even aware? If they are, then your bylaws should have fines which can be enforced via levies. Just keep adding them to the bill until owner takes notice.
