Hi everyone,
We have some problems sending money requests to our guests who don't have access to computers. They just don't see them.
Does anybody know if there are notifications sent and how guests can open the Resolution Center with the mobile app?
For the host, it's easy, but for the guest??
Many thanks in advance.
Here is how to do:
Go to Trips, open the trip, click "Send or Request Money" at the bottom of the page.
It will open the Resolution Center, and you can see the money request.
How will the guests see it from their end, from their app/account?
Here is the instruction how guests can see the request https://airbnbase.com/find-payment-request/
has this been addressed yet? I'm just figuring out guests apparently don't see money requests in the mobile app. Is this correct?
It's what we keep trying to figure out whenever our guests don't see our money requests.
We suppose that they get notified by email but we haven't ever received a money request as guests, so not 100% sure. And do guests read their email (linked with Airbnb account) or not?
It's difficult to know what they're doing with their device, once you know which device they're using.
One thing you can do also is to ask them to open this link:
https://www.airbnb.com/resolutions/
If they're logged in, they should see the money request there.
You're a lifesaver! Thank you!
To answer your question Cat, no they don’t read their emails. But thank you for the info. Have send it to my guest and hope they understand how to use it.
@Alexandre205 The Guest should login into the airbnb app and then open a new browser and type www.airbnb.com/resolutions. They will find the request right there
@Alexandre205 Several features, including the Resolutions center, are not fully functional on the app.
If your guest is navigating Airbnb on a smartphone, advise them to use the Desktop Version of the site rather than the Airbnb app (which is, unfortunately, an abysmal piece of software).
