All I can find is already host or co-host. What if I don't fit into that category and I want to start co-hosting? I am a photographer and I used to own a food truck. So I know how to schedule bookings and take amazing photos to really show the property's potential. I know I would be a benifit to the hosts I just need to get started! Please advise 🙏

I agree it's much harder to find work as a cohost as you don't have any experience. @Heidi1041
cohosting is about understanding how the various STR platforms work, any local STR regulations, how to commission and manage tradespeople and cleaners and how to manage problem guests.
your photography skills will be useful but only a small part of what cohosts should be able to offer.
You could start by hosting a room in your home to gain experience.
if you want to cohost without any experience you'd need to set up marketing channels to promote your cohosting business and invest in marketing to reach owners you've identified as your target market.

Hey,
Great to see your interest in cohosting. There are many hosts looking for cohosts in various roles such as pricing, guest communication, operations and various other roles.
My suggestion would be to contact hosts with multiple listings if they need a hand with various roles. You can also check out online job sites where some hosts post roles.
Hope that help.
All the best,
Kay

Hi @Heidi1041 I'd say you already have a strong foundation to start co-hosting. Given you've ran a food truck means you understand customer service to a fair extent, and your photography skills show you have a level of logistics and an eye for details.
A good first step is to research local co-hosts around your area. Check Airbnb's Co-Host Marketplace (https://www.airbnb.com/co-hosts/results) and look for others advertising around your area or nearby cities. See what services they offer (cleaning coordination, guest messaging, pricing management, etc.) and how they present themselves. This will help you understand what's in demand and how to position your own services to compete effectively.
