How do you file taxes when you live in USA but own an airbnb abroad.

Hello! I’m a new host in Airbnb. We live in USA but own property in Colombia. Does anyone have experience owning a property abroad while living in the US? How did you file taxes?? I’m looking for an accountant that has experience in international taxes. Does anyone have recommendations on an accountant?

@Vanessa2217 In simple terms you file taxes in Colombia and in the USA. IF there is a dual tax agreement then you can offset any US tax with tax paid in Colombia. If not then you pay tax in both! Ideally you need an accountant versed in both Colombian and US tax law.
