How long should Primary Residents live onsite?

Assuming the following:

  1. The city requires that the listing must have a primary resident
  2. The primary resident (PR) frequently travels for business
  3. The requirement for how long the PR must stay on location is vague in the city rules
  4. Sometimes the city will ask for an Airbnb calendar to confirm whether a PR is living on location.

Does anyone have an impression of what the booking to availability ratio of a calendar generally looks like to stay compliant with the above?

@Tristan250 A quick google search came up with this for Colorado:

"The residence of a person is the principal or primary home or place of abode of a person. A principal or primary home or place of abode is that home or place in which a person’s habitation is fixed and to which that person, whenever absent, has the present intention of returning after a departure or absence, regardless of the duration of the absence. A residence is a permanent building or part of a building and may include a house, condominium, apartment, room in a house, or mobile home. No vacant lot or business address shall be considered a residence."

I'm not a lawyer so might be wise to consult one, but it seems to be that if you meet the above criteria, you should be okay. Again, not an attorney and only offering this as a fellow host. Good luck.
