Hi,
My husband and i have a listing but we are going to be very bussy in the future months and we were thinking in getting someone to co host our place while we are busy or out of town?
Our question is;
How much does a co host gets paid?
Thanks in advance !

That's up to you and your co-host to decide, and depends upon how much work they are doing for you. Rates seem to vary from 7% - 50%.
Questions to discuss:
Are they handling all the bookings, replies, emails, etc for you?
Are they handling the cleaning? What about simple maintenance?
Are they on-call for the guests?
You can pay your co-host a straight percentage and keep the cleaning fee (if you charge one), or give them the clening fee and a (usually lower) percentage of the booking fee.
We pay our co-host a straight 40% (his preference) and we keep the cleaning fee to offset that cost. He handles all the cleaning, bookings, emails, phone calls, everything except paying the taxes, etc., which we obviously have to take care of.
Hope that helps.
where do you put the percentage on the listing of what the co host gets

Hi @Olga844 - if you haven't found a co-host yet you could checkout www.cohostmarket.com - I checked and there are several co-hosts listed there for Treasure Island, Fl. Hope that helps!

Hello, I saw your post and was wondering if you are still looking for a co-host?
.
Looking for a co-host in the Asheville, NC area?? I have been a part of the airBnB community for over 10 years. I even shared my home with airBnB guests my last couple years of high school. I am almost 30 now. Anyways, I am currently co-hosting 4 properties for my mom, two of which are out of town so it entails scheduling the work to be done etc. We are also superhosts. I am renovating a camper now to create my own space on AirBnB but i have plenty of time to help anyone whether it be consulting on a new space or helping you make a plan to update a space and get more business, or doing the day to day cleaning and booking. I am definitely an AirBnB geek and love every part of hosting. Let me know if i can be of assistance!

Hello! I have a question. What’s a fair hourly rate to offer someone to check on 50 properties between guest check ins? I assume this would be a lot of work considering the volume of bookings. If anyone is currently doing this or have input on how much to charge that would be great. Thanks!
Hi everyone,
Does anyone know of a good place to look for a reliable co-host in the Destin, Florida area? I currently manage my unit myself however, I will be moving and am looking for someone to help me out with scheduling cleanings, restocking, maintenance etc,. I was initially thinking of hiring a property management company and spoke to evolve, but I hate the fact of taking away a more personal/human aspect for my guest. I would really love to establish a relationship with a co-host that is interested in really making this an experience for our guests rather than just a "place to stay". If anyone knows where to search and/or is interested please let me know.
Have you tried asking for recommendations on Florida host forums @Alina877
Anonymous airbnb management companies like Evolve are something I wouldn't touch with a barge pole.
@Helen3 Thank you! I will check out the Florida Host forums and hopefully get some good feedback.
I wasn't getting a warm fuzzy with evolve so I don't think I'll be taking that route.
thanks again!
