How much will rbnb charge you if you cancel a reservation as a host ?

Hello all !

As a host, I had to cancel a reservation (my dad had an accident).

And I stopped for many months.

Than I started back, but on a new announce.

But Rbnb charged me some fees on my first traveler.

Where do I know how much Rbnb will charge me and for how long ?

I now hesitate to accept new hosts because the benefit would may be too low.

How can I know ?

Thanks !

Hi @MarieLaure10

Airbnb always charge hosts 3-5% of the booking.

So if you want, for example, to get NET 100 euros (after fees), you need to charge 105 euros per night.

You can add a cleaning fee on top of your booking.

If you cancel a booking, you pay a fee of 50 euros.

It depends on what you are talking about... The fee you mention is the regular reservation fee or is it something else?

You get charged a reservation fee for every reservation (about 3%). But if they charged more than that, then it could be a cancellation fee for your last cancellation.

How did you cancel the reservation? If you simply pressed the button to cancel the reservation, than that is probably it. If your father was sick you should have called them, explained the situation and had them cancel the reservation for you, that way you wouldn't get a fine.

Ah ... all right ! Thx Luana I did notre now that. Yes I juste pressed the buttons. So do you know what is the amount of the fine ?

I did not know that (i meant)
