Hello future clients! My name is Zambia and I have a business where we specialize in professional & efficient cleaning, we off...
I am a cleaner. I am reaching out to local hosts to offer my services and have gotten several hits. How can I give them/get contact information? I understand Airbnb blocks contact information out, but there has to be something I can do!
It's against Airbnb's T&C for you to use their platform to make false booking inquiries to try and promote your cleaning services . It's seen as spamming and could get you kicked off the platform @Savannah118
Do what other businesses do and invest in marketing to reach hosts you've identified as your target market .
@Helen3 I'm just starting out, so I truly did not know this. I'm gonna leave the post up for future people looking for this info. Thanks!
@Savannah118 What Helen3 said is true, but I don't think that's what you are doing. I recently had a local cleaner reach out to me in that way, and it didn't bother me at all. It has been really hard to find cleaners in my area, so I was happy about it. Not every host may feel that way, but I appreciated her effort, and we were able to make contact.
AirBnB blocks information because they don't want people to book off-platform, which I completely understand.
There are ways to get around this, by spelling out numbers and or rhyming with certain words. For example, three oh won is my area code. Got it?
You can also provide your full name and location and encourage someone to find you on Spacebook (get it?)
Definitely proceed with caution. As I said, while I appreciated it, some hosts may not.
It's definitely against Airbnb's T&Cs for businesses to try and use the platform to sell their services by making false booking requests @Kia272
Most hosts hate being spammed in this way particularly as it affects your booking algorithm as you have to turn down the false bookings
and sorry spamming hosts with false booking requests is exactly what @Savannah118 is doing.
