How to report Airbnb income in Poland?

Hi,

Quick question. As of 2023, long-term rental are taxed at 8.5% in Poland for income below 100.000, and 12.5% for above 100.000.

What about short-term rental like Airbnb? How is this taxed and at how many percent? Do we also need to pay tax to local town council in addition to the tax office? Please advise.

Hey @Jasper80

As this is a global forum, it might be tricky getting information regarding taxes. I'd recommend you joining the nearest Local Host Club to connect with fellow hosts local to your area. You can join here

I'd also like to tag another lovely host based in Poland @Danka39 - could you kindly please share any insights or advice you may have 😊

Additionally here's a guide about responsible hosting in Poland which you may find useful

Hope this helps!

Hey @Danka39, sorry about that, not sure what happened! I've edited my comment to include the link again. I'll also share it here:

I hope you're able to connect with some local hosts who can share some guidance 😊
