^^^ that's generally the MO, and sure, i've been there as a mum, travelling with kids, and i've certainly snuck in kids into hotel rooms when we were travelling, but i was also SO very careful, and tidy, and never let my kids leave a trace of mess behind. I don't see that happening nowadays. if you bring a bed for your baby then sure, ok, have the freebie, and i'll dispose of the stinky nappies for free.
Generally I try to let all this wash over me, we've done all sorts of "wrong" things in the past when we were travelling with our kids in the 2000s, so I remind myself not to be too judgy. (although I never booked a house with 3 bedrooms and told them there were only 2 of us, and then proceeded to use all 3 bedrooms...... is this karmic payback? lol)
