How to set up cleaning fee to be payed to the co-host AFTER he/she already started?

Hi! I collaborate with a co-host for a few reservations already and we haven't yet set up the cleaning fee to be paid out to the co-host directly. I have a hard time finding instructions on how to set it up on the application. On the co-host profile there is no such an option. Is there anyone who could help me with this issue?

Your cohost should be able to advise you on this as part of the service they offer you @Kamila81 

You can set up for cleaning fees to be paid to a cleaner (or cohost)

In fact, I search for the answer to my question on internet and I also asked my co-host but she doesn’t know. It is her first co-hosting experience. That is why I decided to ask the community for any potential practical advice.

Anybody knows the procedure to  set up cleaning fees to be payed to the co-host?

All you do is go to your payout area and  allocate a certain amount to a different account, which in your case would be your co-host account and it will automictically go to that account without you having to manually do it each time.

@Kamila81  Just take your payouts and use Venmo or other electronic methods to pay your co-host.

Thanks for your advice. Yes, you are right, there is always an option to be doing side transfers to do payouts to my co-host, however I want to avoid that and automate it with Airbnb, to make the process smooth. 

Since I have't found yet the way to automate the process on the Airbnb help page or on internet, I came here to ask the community what are the exact steps to follow.

@Kamila81 It seems like what you want to do is a split payout. You would be sending a fixed amount to your cohost. I know it can be done, but I've never had a need to investigate or set it up.

instead of going to Account Settings, Payments, Payouts, routing rule - just delete that. Instead, on a computer while you’re in hosting mode, go to

Listings

Click on the one you want to edit

Scroll down to Co-Hosts ( you should already have your co-host and their bank account verified)

Click on co-hosts

Click on the co-host you want to pay

Click on Payouts on the right

Choose Cleaning fee + percentage

Co-host will need to accept that.
