Greetings everyone,
My name is Ben and I currently work as a school teacher but I am retiring at the end of this school year. I am currently taking the BNB Mastery Course by James Svetec to gain the knowledge necessary for success as a Co-Host. However, I am more of a hands on person and while I paid several thousand for this course, I require much more hands on experience to truly learn this industry. I live and work in the Eugene-Springfield-Corvallis (Lane and Benton Counties) of Oregon and I am looking for a current host in this area who would like to take me under their wing (as an intern so to speak) so I can learn this business directly from an experienced expert host from the ground up. While the BNB Mastery Course is an excellent course, there is no substitute like direct one-to-one hands on experience, which is the environment I value and work the best within. I am willing to work as a free intern during this phase as I put together my business plan and develop the niche within the STR industry I desire to focus on. My wife and I have travelled extensively (Hawaii, Florida, Dallas, Arkansas) and we have always preferred the VRBO properties vs staying in a hotel. Some of our greatest family time of our life experiences have been in AirBnB type properties and it is my desire to develop a business as a Co-Hosting agency where we can free up a property owners time to enjoy the fruits of their labor in general and provide that time of their life experience for vacation travelers in particular.
Is there a local host available in the Eugene-Springfield-Corvallis community in Oregon that would like to meet and discuss the potential to bring me on as a "free" intern to gain the knowledge, experience and training that I need to become a successful Co-Host and get my business off the ground from a research and development project to an actual running business?
Your help would be greatly appreciated and I can share some nuggets I have learned so far from my journey. Appreciate you all so much. I'm very excited and hopeful for our future.
Warm regards,
Ben
