I have question about hosting Airbnb

I have question about hosting Airbnb …I am trying to host my  primary residence  in Airbnb and its in residential zone . I talked to city of Mansfield they said its illegal but I see so many houses in Mansfield which has been hosting in Airbnb . Even city of Mansfield no house can be hosted in Mansfield  …So Is there idea how can I legally host Airbnb in Mansfield . Really needed help on this

@Liza3236  I don't know about your local laws, but it is true that Airbnb doesn't do anything to prevent unlawful listings in most places that have banned or restricted them. But cities can force Airbnb to turn over your data when they seek to enforce the laws, so it's quite risky to have an illegal listing.

You'll have to research the specific restrictions for your area to find out what is and isn't allowed.
