I want to have a cat

I really want to adopt a cat but I rent my place once in a while ( at least once a month).
 
Is it ok to rent the whole place and leave the cat with the guest? What's should I do?

You can't expect guests to look after your pet.

 

And what if you have a guest who accidently lets it out,  neglects or God forbid harms it.

 

Just take the cat with you or if you can't look at a cattery or friends having it.

 

Enjoy your new companion.
