Insurance protection

Hi my name is Olga, I’ve been with Airbnb four years and I have a concern. Is it a good idea to get an LLC to protect myself from a law suit?  Or what kind of insurance and protection should I get?

@Olga962 - talk to your insurance carrier. It will depend on how you are hosting and the type of insurance you currently have in place.  We didn't need it, but our broker suggested getting an Umbrella policy to protect us against a law suit.  We carry "casual business insurance" because we live on site instead of a typical homeowner's policy.
