Our property is in Canada and our insurance was due. Our insurance company advised us that we would have to change our policy to business/commercial in order to cover when we have short term rentals. I’m wondering if any other Canadian Hosts have come across this and if so, have they found a good insurance company that they are happy with?

I am in Edmonton and there are many different insurance companies.  I see that you are in Lac la Biche.  We use Square One for our listings and although we thankfully have never had to make a claim, they have been a good option for us.
