Is planning permission needed for an airbnb?

Hi, I am preparing my holiday home to let out as an airbnb in Northern Ireland, Do I need planning permission for this or can I go ahead and start letting?

Check STR regulations for your area with your local council @Karen4507 I know there are regulations that apply to NI for STRs .
