Issues with Zoning regarding Multiple Residences on one property

im looking for feedback from other host regarding Issues with Zoning regarding Multiple Residences on one property. 

We have a small cabing (without plumbing) we rent on Airbnb. We also have our main residence as well. The county claims we are in vilation based on the cabin and can not rent out. We are arguing the point and hope to settle this in some manner, but wanted to reach out to other hosts in similair situations.

We would appreciate any feedback.
