Dear Airbnb Community,
We have a property listed on Airbnb located in South Africa that has two listed beneficial owners. We are having trouble getting our KYC updated on one of the beneficial owners. Payouts are kept back due to our KYC not being completed according to Airbnb. Since August 2023, we have tried to update the requested information (owner's Identification) by following the Airbnb links and instructions. Each time it says "You're all set!" and even sends us an email saying: "Your identity is verified" but when we request our payout, they say there is a KYC issue related to an ID not being verified. On Friday, 17 Nov 2023, I was told the co-owner needed to phone Airbnb. When the co-owner called Airbnb earlier today to try and establish what the issue was, they said they couldn't help him since it was not his account. On several occasions since Aug, Airbnb "agents" told us that the issue was being referred to a specialist or that someone would call back, but no progress to date. I was wondering if anyone else has ever dealt with a similar frustrating situation and can perhaps provide me with some advice.
