Hi, we are looking at buying a property in Northumberland, England and to give us a post move income we are looking at maybe doing Airbnb with one of our rooms. What I cannot find out is what are the legal requirements, for example do we need a license? It would only be a room with ensuite, no cooking facilities. Any help would be appreciated please! 1. You need to meet fire regulations of Autumn 2023
2. you need an annual boiler check
4. look at the proposed STR regulations for England (not introduced yet) so no licence yet.
