Letting whilst away

Hello..we're going away for 2 weeks in ten days time..can we set our settings to do just that period for someone to book..we don't need it all to be filled for the time just to earn something whilst away..its a old victorian house 3 bedrooms..thank you Robert

The most straightforward way is to go to the calendar and simply block out the dates on the either side of your trip. You can block multiple dates in one go by simply selecting the start/end period for that action.

You could also, as an additional precaution, set your availability to the shortest window, which I think is three months in advance, but make sure to manually block a few weeks because of course that three months in advance will keep moving every day.

An easier way is to choose  "Unavailable by default" under Availability settings and then go into the actual calendar and unblock the dates you want to make available.

@Robert-And-Sarah0  are you asking if you can try to get just one long booking while you are away?

Yes, you can set those dates to a minimum night booking, so if you want one person to stay 7 nights you could set up a rule just for those dates that has a minimum stay requirement. 

Your current listing is for a private room in your house, are you hoping to let out the whole house instead?
