I'm looking to host for 30-60 days in Berkeley, CA. There's a lot of info on the website about short term rentals, but does anyone have information about long term rentals in Berkeley?
I'd love to ask about what kind of registration/paperwork is necessary to do long term hosting in Berkeley, CA, and hear about your experience.
@Shayda3 I hope you're aware that in California, guests acquire the legal right of tenancy after 30 days. Airbnb only collects the first month of payment upfront, and if the guest fails to continue paying, there's nothing Airbnb can do to stop the guest from squatting the house. You will have to go through a very long and expensive legal process to evict them.
