Hello,

I was wondering if there are resources on market analysis for a successful vacation rental?

Similar to a real estate listing, what makes that town a good one to host a vacation rental.

Can we find comparable "average listings" for the area?

I would like to look at an official list of comparables before turning my house into an air b and b.

If you want to set up an STR business it's like any other business. You need to do your own market research. @Sonny60 

You can use AirDNA.

You can do desk research on STR platforms to see what comparable places in your area rent out at. 

You can check out current and forthcoming STR restrictions in your area.
