Oh my goodness, I am feeling like a trainwreck right now. I am a superhost, retired school teacher, and about to go down the drain I think! I got a new phone and switched carriers 2 weeks ago. My hosting app was gone so I tried reloading the airbnb app. Well, I ended up getting a new airbnb app but it is for customers, not hosts. Of course I contacted Airbnb for support but since I can no longer access the mail.com email address that they have on file for me, they can't help me. I have tried asking for a new password for that email but since I rarely use that email-apparently they cancelled it. I tried to convince the airbnb lady that there has to be another way to verify that I am who I am and that they can help me get my account back. She just kept repeating and repeating that I should go to that email provider, that the link from airbnb will be there. I asked her for a manager or someone above her and even for another coworker but she said that she could not connect me with anyone else. I have no way to see who is coming to my cabin and no way to contact them or answer any questions they have. This is extremely stressful- does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Patty,
Do you have an iPhone and did you back it up to iCloud? If so, go to Settings > Passwords > (locate Airbnb) > tap to open > click on Password to display the password for your previous account.
I'm afraid I don't know how you would repeat these steps with an android phone.
@Patty374 call support again ideally when Europe are awake and hope you get a good support person.
@Patty374 The AirBnB app I have is for both hosts and travelers. I'm not sure what the problem is. You download the app and sign in. If you lost your password, that's on you and AirBnB isn't responsible.
Download the app and log in.
Or go to your desktop/laptop where you can presumably still log in, and change the credentials that way.
