What is everyone’s position on this and how will you adjust to this change? Do yall think this will help or hurt hosts in the long run? Do you think it will help or hurt Airbnb in the long run?
Pls note: the raise from 15.0 to 15.5 % is only for the hosts, who opted for the simplified host fee system or use a booking software.

The mayority will stay at 3.0 % (plus tax).
Hi @Alex14154
As @Till-and-Jutta0 has said, it's only if you're on the single fee structure.
If case you're on the single fee structure:
For every 100 USD, you'll pay 50 cents extra when the rate increases from 15% to 15.5%. You could build it into your nightly rate, but for most bookings it will be a very small amount.
It only benefits Airbnb to look like the good guy and to make us look like we are greedy and over charging guests. The more the guest thinks they pay to us and not to Airbnb only hurts us.
