Hi owners,
Its a new law in Spain in regards with the holiday rental license.
I would appreciate if anyone that knows how to apply for VUT/SE/00000 can let me know the process.
I already have VFT/SE/ but know this needs to change into CUT
Thank you Milena Fuller

Hi @Milena36 ,
I hope you are well.
The current license VFT/SE/00000 automatically changes to be identified as VUT/SE/00000. You only need to change the VFT designation to VUT in all advertising, announcements, or websites where you promote your property.
Between February 22 and August 22, 2024, you must:
- Communicate the operating periods during which you will provide accommodation services.
- Update information regarding the capacity and number of bathrooms in the property.
To carry out these procedures, you will need a digital certificate and access to the virtual office of the Junta de Andalucía
While no additional documentation is specifically required for this particular change, it is advisable to have on hand:
- The current VFT license
- Property documentation
- Updated floor plans of the property
If a company manages the accommodation service for your property, they must communicate the change of ownership in your favor before August 22, 2024.
It is important to act promptly to comply with these new requirements within the established deadlines. If you have any doubts, consider consulting with your local tourism office or a specialist in tourism legislation.

Hello,
thanks for the information! Is there anyway that owners themselves inform junta de Andalucía about the property Manager. I do have digital certificate but my attempts has not yet been successful. It seems only the property manager can do it on owners behalf. Thanks if you have any advice!
Hi @Mehran22,
I'll tag in @Viva--Costa-Del-Sol0 here in case they have more insights to share on this regulation!
Since this is a post from last year as well, I would recommend that you start a new conversation here, so your question is more visible, if you'd like help from other hosts.
Have a lovely day 🙂
