@Kaleigh12 Also confirming that you only need to opt-in once from your Host account and not opt-in individually for each listing.

@Bhumika Confirmed and it didn't work.

Hello Bhumika-

How can I know if I opt-in? I want to make sure I do not miss any updates nor bugs in the system that can cause income loss or guest issues.

Thank you so very much.

I had rooms set up before, so that part isn't new. My screen just shows the list of listings instead of the fancy version with the two tabs on the top.

@Wendy533 Have you tried using a different search engine and accepting again to opt in?

This absolutely makes sense @Joelle43 ! Great suggestion!

Tried that. Didn't work.

That seems quite unusual @Wendy533 !! As per the new updates to Easily manage your listing and enrolling for the early access, you should be able to view the upgraded listings tab. If I may ask , did you happen to enroll a few hours ago or just recently.

If it still persists for the next few hours, would you be able to share some information about which device you are using and the version of the app, so that I can pass over this issue to the technical team?

Please keep us posted!

I opted in and can click on the new listing tab at the bottom of the app, but it takes me to the same listing page as I had before. I haven't seen any of the changes since I accepted the winter release on the 8th.

Hello @Kaleigh12

When I click on your listings I'm seeing the photo tour per room but maybe you had this already set up even before the Winter Release?

I had them set up before the release. Thank you for checking!

I just checked and I have the most up to date app version. It's showing the new version on the travel side, but not on the host side. I've set up rooms in some listings before so that's not new. I'm also using Chrome on the desktop and it looks the same. I closed out my browser and restarted. Same same.

Hi @Wendy533 ! Thank you for sharing that you've tried out most of the basic troubleshooting methods. Can you also try to logout completely from your profile and start with a fresh login. Sometimes, it may also be due to a cache issue. Please keep me posted once you've tried it and I will make sure to report it.

Does anyone understand the criteria for "guests favourite"

One of my properties is 4.79 and is a favourite. Another is 4.84 and isn't a favourite.

Is it reviews within a certain time frame. When is it updated?

Hello @Tony-And-Una0

I would have thought it would have been the other way round?  Here is the official explanation of what it takes to be labelled "Guest favorite"

There are over 7 million listings worldwide on Airbnb, and every minute, over 100 five-star reviews are submitted to the platform1. But what’s the best way to discover the right accommodation for you if not by starting with the ones that people love the most?

To help guests find great places to stay, Airbnb has launched Guest Favorites, a collection of the 2 million most-loved homes on Airbnb based on ratings, reviews, and reliability, that include:

  • Great ratings and reviews: Guest Favorites have excellent reviews and are rated above 4.9 stars on average. These homes also receive high marks for ease of check-in, cleanliness, listing accuracy, Host communication, location, and value.
  • Outstanding reliability: have a superb record of reliability, with Host cancellations and quality-related customer service issues of 1% on average.
  • Easy to discover on Airbnb: Guest Favorites are available around the world, and they’re simple to find on Airbnb. Just look for the new badge in search results and on the listing page, or filter for Guest Favorites.

Not sure this replies to your question though....

A few glitches possible I imagine

It would make more sense if they limited to review scores within last year.

When you've been around as long as we have, the overall review score becomes a bit meaningless.

We could have been great years ago, but no longer. Or really improved in the last year. When you have a large number of reviews, it's hard to shift the dial on overall score.

It seems Superhost in no longer a search filter criteria for guests.

So all the effort we put in has been negated and new hosts with a few 5 star reviews have the new Guests Favourite filter trumping Superhost.

Why do we bother?

Correct me if I am wrong. I was search on a mobile device.

I didn't see the Superhost in the filter either. Only showing Guest Favorite and Luxe.

Hi @Tony-And-Una0 ! I can confirm the Superhost filter has been removed. This is to simplify some of the search filters and adding a new Guest Favorites filter to help guests find some of the most-loved homes on the platform. Guests will still be able to see whether their Host is a Superhost on the listing page.

On a side note, have you explored other features and updates of the Winter Release 2023 ? We look forward to hear your feedback about them!

Why remove Superhost? Guest heavily rely on this, as well as hosts. My area is filled with short-term rentals and I have restrictions of 30 days or more, so I have less chance of being discovered, as the turnover and less frequent guests and opportunity for reviews.

Thanks for confirming that

One the benefits of being a superhost was that it would be in search filters.

Overnight, this is gone

I always search superhost when booking. Mainly to avoid my booking being cancelled.

What's the actual criteria for "guests favourite".  Actual data plase Cancellation rates etc. What period is this measured over?
