If you mean leading a local community club in your area, I suggest gaining more experience as a host and actively participating in this community. Once you’ve built enough experience, you can apply to become a local community leader.
In which language do you feel more comfortable? There are two communities you might find interesting—one in English (this one) and another in French. I suggest trying both to see which feels like a better fit for you!
