We're about 35 km from you and regularly drive through Oliphant.  In my opinion, your better off to do the spring/summer/fall rentals.  The tourism here declines outside of the tourist season.  Keep in mind the weather conditions, is the bunkie heated, what's the heat source.  Also, what about plumbing, will it freeze?  There are lots of variables to consider.
