Opening an Airbnb (Gurgaon)

can someone suggest, if we can run an airbnb in our independent floor which is built on a 204 yards land…

What are the legal implications?

Hi, homestays are legal in India and no tax registration or commercial registration to start a homestay, but you want to register and get classification from Your local district tourism promotion council.

This rule is applicable for independent house only. If your one is flat you want to register this as a service apartment category and it is taxable and you want to get a commercial registration.

Yes, you can register this as Service Apartment, you want get ready your property's Possession Certificate, Ownership Certificate, Police Clearance Certificate, C-Form registration if you are accommodating foreign nationals, Village Sketch and FSSAI registration and water testing results - documents requirement may vary depending on the DTPC of your area. Enquire at your DTPC (District Tourism Promotion Council) office of your area with the above documents.
