Starting an Airbnb in Bhuj? Here’s what you need to know about government requirements:

• Is it compulsory? Not always, but some approvals help avoid legal issues.
  
  
• Where to go? Local municipal office for property permissions, police station for guest verification (if needed), and Gujarat Tourism if homestay registration applies.
  
  
• Anything else? If your income crosses ₹20L/year, you’ll need GST registration.
