I'm calling it a delay but it's been four days since my last guest checked in and I have received no payment from Airbnb and still no email indicating that a payout was sent. This is very unusual because Airbnb always has notified me at the end of Day 1 after check-in to let me know that a payment has been sent. I checked my transactions page and the reservation was oddly missing. It was not in the completed payments column nor in the upcoming payments column. There is no 'pending column' where I hope my transaction is hiding. I called Airbnb customer service on Day 2 after check-in to see if there was some kind of problem or hold on the payout and the representative told me that there was no problem, that the payment was supposed to be sent but for some unexplainable reason, wasn't. She advised me to wait a couple of days to see if anything happens. I've been monitoring my deposit account daily to see if there has been any deposits from Airbnb - there are none. And still no email from Airbnb even after my guests have checked out.
I'm fortunate that my bookings have picked up again after the devastating cancellations in March thru June, none of which qualified for relief funds. Now I'm becoming concerned that Airbnb may be having financial troubles, as predicted early in the Coronavirus outbrea, and can't pay make the prompt payments that we rely on. After absorbing nearly $10,000 in lost bookings this Spring, I really depend on those timely payments for my damage control plan. An interesting note: I did online searches for 'Airbnb financial trouble' and found many articles from March and April, but none, yes none, that are more recent than early June.
Have any other hosts experienced this delay, or non-payment? I'd appreciate your feedback.
Hi @Lizzie, this issue has absolutely not been resolved. We had a guest check in September 10th and while the dollars and booking are visible in the calendar they have disappeared from the future and past payouts. I have a ticket open but was supposed to get a call-back already. Please help escalate as soon as possible, we have already blocked future available dates and if we don’t have this resolved by the time our guest checks out we will be canceling already-confirmed bookings.
Hi! This has just happened to me too. I had some wonderful guests check into the cottage on September 10 who have 20 stellar reviews. Their payment was not sent to me at the typical 24 hour post check-in time and the reservation is no longer on my earnings page--as either "expected" or "paid"--it has just disappeared entirely... Yikes. As I have been keeping up with developments on this forum, I knew of previous problems hosts had with this issue, so I sent a detailed message through the AirBnb help system this morning at 7am EST to get the discussion started quickly. I got some clarifying questions from the Bot, but no real progress... just a promise that someone will contact me soon. WAIT!!--UPDATE--While writing this message I checked my earnings page again and see that the reservation payment is back on as an "expected" earning and then checked my email only to find the traditional "payout sent" email. Cool. That was pretty painless overall if that works. 🙂 Good luck to everyone else in resolving these issues!!!
I am in Toronto and having the same issue as well. No payouts since September 10th. Hence I came here and found others having the same issue.
Don't try to turn me down, I want my payout now.
I have a Paypal account that airbnb used before and I am waiting for my $315 since December, 2020.
I am about to make a registered complain about it.
@Fabio1107 You aren't talking to Airbnb here, this is just a discussion forum for hosts and guests. Airbnb customer service doesn't read the posts here.

It is exactly the same problem I just had. I guest stayed for 12 nights At my place, he checked out 2 days ago and I still have no answer from Airbnb.

I've just found this thread and am hoping someone can help me as I'm at the end of my tether. I'm new to hosting on Airbnb and already have my second guests in my house with third due this weekend but I've still not had any payout yet and my transaction history is still showing zero. No one seems to be able to help me at customer services, they keep saying its with another team that I can't speak to, creating cases but then closing them when the issue is still not resolved. Apparently it's a system issue but I can see from the many threads that this seems to be a common thing dating back to 2020! There is no way to escalate and its just such a terrible experience and I feel like I'm being scammed. My guests have paid Airbnb but they are in turn with holding my money. Could you please provide any advice for getting this resolved. It's been going on now since the 2nd July.
@Nicola2227 The first payment always takes a while. My first payment was there after 4 weeks. So don't worry to much just yet.
I have no deposits since Nov 6 guest. I have been given 3 different reasons why by 3 different people. One lady left for 4 days ? I tried someone else....they pushed me back to her thread. I asked for phone call. None. My listing are closed because no one can explain where all the money is. Transactions show deposit into business account....but no funds in there. It had been going on for weeks.....losing money daily....no one seems too concerned. I asked for phone call today....nada. I have requested another level to speak to...nada. Explained the damage being done. 0 concern. Still waiting for truth and fix so I can open business again. Nov 6th !! Its been a month of no money due to missing money and now me closing until resolve. I have heard refunds/taxes and went to donations....all 3 of which are a lie. Transactions SHOW DEPOSIT but no funds in account. Money is missing and lies and excuses are being thrown out in a long month of trying to explain it.
