On my last airbnb payout there were 2 amounts deducted for a guest who stayed in my accommodation one year ago. Airbnb said that my computer must have been hacked and "i" requested the refund.
I contacted the guest who was supposedly refunded and they advised they never received a payout.. do I ignore this assuming there is nothing that can be done?
This is a strange story, as you are charged money as being a refund for an old reservation, but it seems to be vanishing in thin air.
Airbnb should investigate what is going on. You also should keep an eye on your account to check if everything is OK, especially the payout method section.
