Hi Maria, I am glad you were able to receive your payout. Airbnb has been very non-transparent on why payouts are delayed or not processed on our side too.
We have completed 2 reservations within the month of May this year and our payouts have yet to be received, and their excuse is that our local government has new laws - when they actually do not, as we have spoken to our local bank recently. They ridiculously base their information on "online research". And when they state that new regulation that has been obviously implemented in their own organization - they are unable to tell us more details about it. They keep giving us the inefficient solution of updating our payout method (that we've been using for the last 4 years successfully) and once it is verified by them and we still not get our money - they still have the audacity to tell us it's our local government faults.
If we have to keep following up with them for months for money they legally owe us, I am afraid they will lose a lot of business by the end of this year. Myself and others are already thinking of branching out to another platform that has more respect towards their hosts.
