We have been hosting for a month, have tried repeatedly to put the bank information in to receive payouts. We are owed over $3000 and have received nothing.
First, my co-host and property manager set up a bank account and entered the payout information. It did not work.
Second, they told us that a co-host cannot enter payout info (why is this an option on the co-host dashboard then, I wonder???). Then I made the co-host the main host to enter the payout info. The payment information was entered by the (now) main host. Still not working, no payouts received.
Third, they told us that it has to be the account admin, not the main host, who enters payout information. They said you cannot change the account admin without completely disabling the account, losing all bookings and reviews. This seems like a terrible system. I own the property and live out of state, and want my property manager to be able to manage the property, including finances. Being able to change the admin seems like it would be something that should be able to be done, but I guess Airbnb is not there yet. To work-around, I shared my login information with my property manager (now main host) who put the payout information in through the admin account.
Now, in the "insights" section, under "Earnings" it shows that we have been paid out, but we have received no payments. Airbnb sent an email saying that we should deleted and re-enter the account information to receive payouts.
The airbnb service team has been woefully unhelpful, simply sending links to "how to add payout information" or "what is the difference between a host and a co-host" as a supposed way to help this situation. I never imagined that a company that I have used frequently as a guest would be so terrible as a host....after one month with airbnb I am feeling very, very frustrated with the lack of clarity, lack of host services, and obviously poor IT and banking software.
Has anyone else had issues similar??
@Barbara2728 one thing that stops people being paid is if they haven't made the account they want paying to the default account. You need to do this even if there is only one bank account on the system
Hi @Barbara2728,
I'm sorry to hear you're running into some issues with your payouts. Have you had a chance to try @Mike-And-Jane0's suggestion above at all? If you're still stuck, let us know and we can try and help further. 🙂
Thanks,
Emilie

Missing money
@Barbara2728 I NEVER BEEN PAID for 4months (July 2022 until today ) and i must have huge number on it ...
I have changed and add many time about payment method but still can not be insist (airbnb use payoneer)
i think payoneer the worst vendor service for money transfer, , if you have problem they are very slow respond and so difficult,, even we all give the true information, they start to make it difficult again and again in every step , but the sadness news come from airbnb, they said can not help even for contacting payoneer they can not do it by privacy reasons ,they don't really helpful for your problem ,, this is so cruel ,, cooperation between payoneer and airbnb and very very troublesome for host who in trouble , not easy and need many many month just for checking our personal data,,
in others OTA our account holder can get normal payment and never miss, we use the same account bank
what we knows by a simple thinking: >> airbnb getting paid by the guest,, for us airbnb still keep the money ,, avoid other problem behind airbnb vendor payoneer etc... it is airbnb or payoneer problem so ,,
after sending all my correct data from Goverment ID , Bank Book, Bank statement, utility Bill ,, etc ,, till today they can not verify it .. and they always asking me this data for many time for same question, same data ,,, Just to verify the bank account need 4 months ?? This Craziest working system in the world
