Permit Requirement in Albuquerque NM?

Hello All,

I am working with a new co-host partner to set up a second property in Albuquerque NM. We have heard mixed information.

Some local hosts have told us that no Permit is required, YET. Some information is that there is a waiting period to get a permit.

Any hosts currently in Albuquerque, NM, have the downlow?

I'm sure your cohost has already mentioned this,  but the best way to find out factual information about how any STR regulations work is to look at them on your local goverment website @Christina983 

A quick Google search found STR regulations have been in place since 2021 so worrying that some hosts in your area think there aren't any 😀😀

CABQ requires a STR permit, that process requires a business license, monthly reporting and liability insurance. Also they are jacking our property taxes too if you don’t live on site.

however, I have never encountered any enforcement whatsoever. 
I follow the rules but I know many don’t.
